    Product Update — February 2026

Spec sheets arrived, and the configurator got its first AI assistant.

    Spec Sheets

Generate a specification sheet directly from a 3D model, then edit it properly. The editor is a full rich-text environment: drag-and-drop blocks, tables with resizable cells, slash commands, headings, images from your library or your computer, and custom sections with adjustable titles.

Export as PDF or download the underlying data as CSV. Dimension units and measurement corrections are yours to set, layouts are drag-and-drop, and you can download spec sheets in bulk rather than one at a time. Token cost and generation progress are shown as it works.

    AI assistant in the configurator

A first version of the configurator chat. Describe the change you want and it finds the relevant parts of your model and applies it — with granular tools for modifying variants rather than one blunt instruction. Early, and improving quickly.

    Polymuse Configurator SDK

The SDK is now published on npm, so developers integrating Polymuse into a custom website work from a versioned package instead of a bundled script.

    Image editing

Inpainting with a brush tool, so you can paint out or replace part of a generated image rather than regenerating the whole thing. Upscaling is available as an explicit control, and both the prompt bar and image preview are shared across inpainting and outpainting so the tools behave consistently.

    Also in this release

    • Texture types — the library now distinguishes fabric, leather, wood and more, with type-specific metadata fields, plus AO and height maps, sheen and UV tiling.
    • Batch model upload and duplicate model, including duplicating with fast loading enabled.
    • Categories for organising configurations, and shareable configuration links.
    • Folders for AI Studio images, with filtering by folder.
    • Multi-select at checkout, an "always visible" sub-configuration option, and show-options support for multi-select blocks.
    • Square swatch UI template and an option to hide filters on the swatch picker.
    • A guided onboarding form with scoring, shown as a modal on any page.
    • Enhance prompt as a toggle, with prompt saving and a cap on how many you keep.
    • Trial accounts get a watermark on generated video; upscales are charged and persisted properly.
    • Rate limiting for public and private embeds.

Plus fixes across the spec sheet editor, AI Studio project loading and the configurator tree.
