A month focused on doing more in bulk and making 3D models load faster.
Configurator Spreadsheet
Manage every configurator in one grid instead of opening them one at a time. Add configurators to a sheet, edit variants inline, drag to reorder, rename headers, and work with sub-configurations and variant-level modules in the same view. Shopify products and variants can be set up straight from the sheet, and syncing pushes the right data in the right order.
Sheets load on demand rather than all at once, so a large catalogue opens quickly.
Copy and paste across configurators
Set a configurator up once and reuse it. You can now copy a full configurator, paste individual fields into several others at once, and copy UI properties separately from content — useful when the styling is shared but the products are not. Pasting keeps Shopify links in sync rather than leaving them pointing at the original.
Smaller, faster 3D models
A rebuilt upload pipeline: KTX2 and Draco compression, progressive loading with generated levels of detail, WebP textures, and direct-to-storage uploads with signed URLs. You can set texture resolution and polygon count per model, and organisation members can upload at the same time without queuing.
Most models now start rendering noticeably sooner, and download sizes are a fraction of what they were.
Transform controls
Position, rotation and scale are now available inside Show/Hide and Model blocks, with a root transform for the whole model. Inputs are draggable, accept arithmetic, and only the values you actually changed are saved — so two blocks can adjust different properties of the same part without fighting each other.

- ✓Image to 3D now removes the background and pre-processes your photo before generating, which produces cleaner geometry.
- ✓Video generation gained first-and-last-frame control, extend with Veo 3, and proper background jobs so you can navigate away while it works.
- ✓Background removal moved to a dedicated service — no large model download in your browser on first use, and clearer progress and error messages.
- ✓Annotations can be wired to model animations, with play/stop and once/loop controls on embeds.
- ✓Passwordless sign-in, plus terms links on the sign-up flow.
- ✓AR clicks and engagement added to analytics.
- ✓HEIC photos supported in AI Studio.
- ✓Fabric was renamed Texture throughout, ahead of the library covering wood, metal and leather.
- ✓Free-plan analytics now show a clear sample view instead of an error.
- ✓Faster loading for long variant lists, and fewer database reads on sign-in.
